It’s honorifics towards the subject plays an important role in Korean (special nouns or verb endings are used to express respect). The order of words in Korean can be modified, but the verb must always come at the end. The Korean writing system is hangul, which makes a phonetic and syllabic alphabet. Hangul is artificial; as a result it is called a one-day alphabet which can be learnt in one day. The Korean language in theory is spoken in North and South Korea, in practice years of mutual isolation have resulted in two varieties that differ in vocabulary, writing and even grammatical rules.
